why does nextel suck? I received
terrible customer service on dozens of occasions from many
different departments. Bad phone service, customer service
and billings.
how bad are they? It is of my opinion that they are
bad enough to warrant a website devoted completely to helping
others deal with this company and collecting stories from
customers that have had terrible experiences with them.
who are you and why are you doing this? I'm just
a consumer that feels I've gotten bad customer service and
have been treated horribly by this company and I don't want
this to happen to others, thus this site. I also want to
create an environment where others can tell their tales
about nextel, either how bad they were or how they eventually
won a battle with Nextel.

was born because I once owned two nextel phones. After canceling
them I've had problems with this company for over a year
and a half now. This includes billing me for months after
I requested cancellation, not turning off the phones, reporting
me to collections agencies AFTER I paid the bill even though
they say I owe NOTHING. READ

I'm a 32 year old IT Director, originally from Michigan, though I now reside in California. I had a horrible experience with this company that was dragged
out to a year and a half long. It was only resolved because of my
persistence and the fact that I think I annoyed someone long enough
that they finally fixed their error just to get rid of me. I think
that the Internet is a great way to get stories out and for consumers
to retaliate against companies that have this sort of bad customer
service problems. This is the only way to fix this, by alerting
others so that they may lose customers. If this website can help
one consumer avoid having to go through dealing with this company
then it's worth my time and effort.
I hate companies like Nextel. Why should a consumer have to spend
hours and hours on the phone, faxing things, explaining things over
and over again for over a year to get a mistake made by Nextel fixed?
They shouldn't, thus this site. I feel that far too often I'm running
into companies with bad customer service, from now on, if it's really
bad... they will get a website designed just for them.

UPDATE:
The site has remained up because other people still seem interested. To be quite honest, I have lost the passion for hating Nextel. Despite the fact that I have moved on and really don't HATE (just dislike, and no I wouldn't use their services with the crappy old technology) them anymore, many other people do hate them. I still receive quite a bit of email regarding Nextel. The site still generThe site still generates quite a bit of traffic each month. If someone were to have the passion I had in starting it, I might turn it over to a new Nextel hater.
